There are 2 posts, and each would be expected to cover various aspects of workforce transformation programmes namely primary care and general workforce. Please indicate in your personal statement which you are interested in applying for SWLW05 (General) / SWLW08 (Primary) The post holder will provide expertise and senior leadership in the development, management and delivery of large-scale workforce transformation projects specifically but not limited to retention, primary care, and wellbeing . A key aspect for the role will be to ensure appropriate evaluation and metrics are in place to support impact monitoring and milestone achievement and benefits realisation. A core part of this role is to be able to credibly present complex information that initiates positive change across the ICS. Provide programme management, inclusive leadership, and workforce transformation expertise to colleagues within the wider project team and ensure that leads have clear responsibilities, priorities and timescales and track delivery. Design, facilitate and lead project management meetings with stakeholders, ensuring breadth in participation and a focus on action planning and learning. About us The post holder will work strategically with colleagues, collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to strategically align workforce transformation activities across South West London in a way that works towards the overall strategic direction of the ICS to ensure effective management of interdependencies and delivery of transformational objectives and ensuring that programmes are relevant and effective. Develop and maintain effective programme reporting through the associated programme governance routes within and across South West London ICS, regionally and nationally.Proactively monitor progress to ensure the programme is managed in line with ICS values, standing financial instructions, project management processes, and in compliance with appropriate legislation, statutory approvals, and mandatory standards. Provide line management and leadership to project team(s), assigning responsibility for individual projects, providing technical support, and balancing the workloads of individual team. This will include ongoing development and support in line with ICS policies on appraisal and staff management. Manage strategies to achieve acceptance, consensus, and alignment of views, both formally and informally from senior managers and clinicians. Use negotiation, persuasion, and motivational skills to gain support for the programme across the breadth of stakeholders, including commissioners, patients, and providers. Ensure that programme related business plans are underpinned by detailed and robust financial plans through budget planning and negotiation of appropriate budgets for best value for money including signing off invoices, monitoring expenditures and providing budgetary reports. Acting as the ICBs first point of contact in relation to workforce related data analysis and reporting. Producing regular workforce reports and analysis for the ICBs Board, People Board, and the Integrated Care Partnership. Ensure the related agendas Primary Care, Staff Health and Wellbeing, Retention and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are considered and supported through all areas of workforce development and transformation. Design and implement innovative methods to gain patient and public involvement to inform service direction, improvement, user satisfaction, and as a tool for performance management.The post holder will be required to use advanced analytical and judgement skills including understanding and application of complex statistical and numerical data to support workforce transformation.
