Attention to detail and excellent communication and organisational skills are key components to the position. Knowledge of medical terminology especially relating to cancer is essential along with an ability to receive and process sensitive and complex patient information. You will be required to track patients on their cancer pathway in line with national Cancer Waiting Times targets. Working with Patient Pathway trackers and Service Managers, you will have overall accountability for reporting breaches, analysing breach reasons and escalating capacity and delays to the Cancer Performance Manager as appropriate.
