The successful candidate will work alongside other Speech and Language therapists to assess and treat children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs. As a successful candidate you will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills (including observation, listening and empathy skills) to support the individual needs of children, and families, working together with professionals in Health and Education Services. With support, you will organise, plan and prioritise your own workload, and develop appropriate strategies for caseload management. There will be the opportunity to develop skills in the training and education of staff in Preschool settings and schools, partnership working with parents and the development of therapy programmes. What we can offer: An opportunity to work with a varied caseload, including phonological and language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Language Disorder, and learning disabilities with support from our highly trained clinical specialist SLTs. 1:1 regular management supervision.
