There is one position available for 37.5 hours, the post is to support Consultant surgeons and the clinical team, and the post holder will be primarily based at Doncaster Hospital. They will need experience in managing the robust systems in place for the administrative engagement of patient pathways. They will need to be able to work flexibly as part of the team - sometimes across sites - to produce clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software from outpatient and inpatient attendances. Experience in using the PTL (Patient Tracker List) to manage patient's pathway is paramount. A knowledge of medical terminology alongside previous experience of working in a clerical / secretarial role is desirable. You will be required to display tact and diplomacy, and have developed communication skills when dealing with senior staff, patients, colleagues and the general public. The post holder will support named clinicians and support their colleagues to provide an efficient support to all members of the clinical teams. The post holder may be required to work across site - Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals due to service needs.
