About us JOB PURPOSE The Matron/Nurse Lead is responsible for the leadership and effective delivery of patient care for the Tissue Viability/lymphoedema caseload. The Matron/Nurse Lead has responsibilities for ensuring Pioneers strict compliance and adherence to CQC standards and requirements as directed by the Ambulatory Lead. The role works collaboratively to implement Quality Improvement and audit processes and systems within Pioneer for the purpose of promoting clinically effective and continuously improving care. It will also drive and help to continually embed Pioneers values; putting Patients First; effective Communication; invest in Staff Development; strive for Excellence; and advance practice through Research. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Clinical Co-ordinate and evaluate patient care and outcomes and ensure safe discharge of patients in accordance with Pioneer Discharge Policy. Provide professional leadership, acting as the lead clinician who supervises staff, assessing, planning, implementing overseeing and evaluating programmes of care and advanced skills.
