Some work will involve engagement with people across our region to inform key strategic documents such as our Population Needs Assessment and the UHB’s Medium Term Plan. Other work will involve engagement on service development areas for groups of people with specific communication needs. We also need someone who is able to help us communicate the outcomes of our work in a range of ways through annual reports, newsletters, social media, etc. We seek a team player with experience of engagement and communications work, together with a real heart for working between organisations and with a wide range of service users and communities. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. The role is hosted within Cardiff and Vale Health Board’s Strategic Planning team but will have strong links with partnership arrangements across the Cardiff and Vale region on a day-to-day basis including the Regional Partnership Board and Public Service Boards.
