We can offer you training, development opportunities, regular supervision and support. The Reablement and Home First Team provide vital short-term services to people in their homes to help them regain as much independence as possible after a stay in hospital, an injury or illness. No previous experience in a paid/unpaid caring role is required. To be successful in this role you should: enjoy working with people; understand what motivates people; be comfortable being involved in practical, sometimes personal and intimate care provision for people; have a desire to learn and develop skills; able to work alone and in a team setting . If you do have experience of working in a caring role, it will prove very useful and will allow you to progress more rapidly. GHC has full-time and part-time roles available at various locations across Gloucestershire. Our services run 24/7 and all our Rehabilitation Assistant roles offer core hours of 07.00-22.00. Full-time roles operate on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule and part-time roles are 2 days on, 6 days off. Please note that this role is locality based visiting patients in their homes and therefore it is highly desirable that all applicants have a valid driving licence for the UK and access to a vehicle.
