Position Overview Global Senior Product Manager for Carestream Dental's General Dentistry portfolio. This portfolio is of high strategic importance to the Carestream Dental organization, and the leader in this role will have exposure to, interest from, and support from our executive leadership team, as well as our end-user and partner community. This leader will join a highly skilled team of dedicated and passionate individuals. Working remotely, they will be responsible for the direction, communication, and implementation of our General Dental Practice Management Software strategy, vision, and commercialization process. They will capture customer requirements, market trends (both dental and broader), and technology developments as they pertain to the dental industry. They are responsible for interpreting those inputs and delivering innovative software solutions to the market. Reports to the Senior Director of Product and Process Excellence Position Summary Leadership in product management, market strategy, and partner performance management, and other complementary solutions. Specific Key Responsibilities Include Driving product commercialization and enhancements for General Dental practice solutions. Managing the product lifecycle to create an optimized offering for customers. Identifying market, technology, and service trends; assessing business implications; developing product and technology roadmaps that result in improved products, and conducting trade trials and Beta Sites to support software validation and fitness according to the release process. Synthesizing diverse information and data to make decisions that achieve financial and market goals. Leading global pricing for accountable solutions while supporting regional pricing strategies across businesses. Providing competitive analysis including customer data, market trends, and pricing structure trends. Collaborating with Global and Regional Marketing teams to develop and deliver outbound and product marketing materials, training content, customer presentations, press releases, user conferences, trade shows, social media, and sales campaigns. Managing a pool of key reseller partners, ensuring they meet performance and service level agreements. Partnering and leading cross-functional regional and worldwide teams to integrate inputs and develop unique solutions to achieve business objectives such as customer satisfaction, financial growth, and market share. Collaborating and iterating with development teams and stakeholders on trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and guiding decision-making aligned with product and business strategies. Maintaining knowledge of current competitive products and forecasting competitor's future portfolios and market plans. Developing and implementing consistent methods for portfolio delivery across the value chain while driving portfolio simplification. Leading and mentoring other members of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team. Partnering with the strategic account management team on key account plans. Ensuring customer success through relationship management, visiting dental practices, and identifying software solutions that can enhance the environment. Developing and maintaining product knowledge, including competitive products and services, through detailed research activities like periodical reviews, attending trade shows, seminars, lectures, industry-related websites, symposiums, and monitoring activities of various industry associations or governing bodies. Acting as the portfolio steward internally and externally with key stakeholders. Identifying and reporting opportunities for process improvements, quality enhancements, and cost reduction related to the product line. Owning and maintaining accountability for the profit and loss (P&L) of the assigned portfolios segment Success Metrics Financial: Revenue and contributing earnings of the product line Performance: Actual compared to business case Market share: Performance in relationship to the market Product Commercialization: Schedule, quality, features and cost Key/Critical Competencies Critical thinking; must be able to be creative in designing solutions.
