ROYAL INFIRMARY of EDINBURGH HOSPITAL DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCES MEDICAL SECRETARY/ ADMINISTRATOR Full Time 37 hours We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the medical secretarial team within the Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DCN). You should have significant secretarial experience and possess excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with working knowledge of MS 365 applications as well as NHS administration systems including Trakcare is essential. Working knowledge of PACS and Clinical Portal would be advantageous. You are required to be a flexible individual, with the ability to work well under pressure. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required. Essential qualities also include excellent audio typing skills, a typing test will be part of the interview process. NHS Scotland is in the process of reducing their full time working week with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
