Applicants must have a genuine interest in working within endoscopy to join the diverse multidisciplinary team within the unit. There are many opportunities within the department for ongoing learning and education within this specialty. Good decision making skills in clinical practice and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must possess evidence of effective team working and excellent interpersonal skills, and be committed to patient focused care. Experience within nursing is essential for this particular post, along with the ability to reach our out of hour on call service within the hour. A driving licence is essential for the on call service. As part of the team you will be fully supported through mentorship, induction, revalidation and teaching programmes.
