Job Overview As a Healthcare Assistant with Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working together as part of a multidisciplinary, professional team to assist the registered nurses and senior clinical staff in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care. Our staff are committed to providing high standards of individualised care for the people who use our services, whilst maintaining their privacy and dignity at all times. Assist with the care of surgical patients, both pre and post operation. Escalate patient care to those you are working with. Be responsible for your own learning. Work as part of a Multi disciplinary team. Support enhanced recovery for the patients. Effective communication. Documentation. Provide personal care &amp; take vital observations inc CBs monitoring. Assisting with Mobility. Why Work With Us Ella Rowcroft ward &amp; HCU is a fast paced elective Orthopaedic and Trauma ward, we have 14 beds and 2 bedded HCU. This ward gives HCA's to learn new skills within an environment of a supportive and dynamic team.
