About us  This is a key developmental role supporting the Matron for the Emergency Department in Urgent Care Group. The purpose of this post is to oversee, lead & take responsibility for the day to day management of the ED nursing performance. The role will support the achievement of all local, organisational and national standards and compliance (CQC, NICE, GPICS, Clinical Governance and risk).   The post holder will provide visible & effective leadership to staff within the Intensive care unit. Provision of this visibility will provide accessible and authoritative presence to whom staff, patients and families can turn to for advice, support and assistance.
