Locum Specialty Doctor in Haematology with Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading
There is a new full-time post for a Specialty Doctor to contribute to malignant and non-malignant haematology services at a middle grade (SpR)/staff grade level. The role may also be appropriate for a suitably qualified person to take on as part time if it fulfils the department's expectations and needs. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to the day to day functioning of the department at a level based on their experience. The successful applicant will work with all consultants and existing staff grade/middle grade doctors to cover the services provided at the trust. The successful applicant will support the current delivery of Clinical haematology services, including contribution to the future development at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a suitable qualified, enthusiastic individual to take this post and there is a possibility to develop subspecialist interests within haematology as part of the restructuring of the Clinical Haematology department at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. There is also potential for collaboration with Oxford University Hospitals (OUH), which is one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in the UK and has a national and international reputation for development of a speciality interest if the candidate wishes to.
