Working as part of the place-based leadership team the successful post holder will provide professional leadership for all non-medical clinical staff across Wales, including both the Hospice in Penarth and our community services. The post holder will be responsible for leading the delivery of person-centred, safe and effective care, ensuring a robust governance framework is in place to optimise standards, manage risk, and facilitate an open learning culture to support continuous quality improvement. The post holder will also develop robust clinical workforce plans and ensure clinical teams are prepared and able to care. Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring that the lived experience and the voice of the citizen is evident in service design, providing high quality clinical and professional leadership to ensure the delivery of effective, efficient, and high-quality care pathways. The Role: We are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as our new Head of Nursing and Quality in Wales. Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week Contract: Permanent Base: Marie Curie Cardiff & the Vale Hospice, Penarth with an opportunity for some flexible working.
