To use practical, communication and creative skills to plan and provide a range ofsocial and recreational activities on the acute, in-patient wards. To manage individuals and groups of patients in social and recreational activities onand off the ward. This may include people who have physical disability and healthneeds, behaviours that challenge and learning disabilities as well as an acuteepisode of confusion and delirium. To contribute to the assessment of patients by reporting presentations, changes,performance and progress whilst engaged in individual and group activities.
