Based in Londons medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renown campus that house several centres of excellence from Cardiac to Diagnostics to Complex Oncology. This role is to support patients undergoing cancer treatment across HCA London services including Leaders in In Oncology Care, The Harley street Clinic and University College London. You will be working within a team of Psychologists reporting into a Lead Psychologist and Head of Therapies. You will provide care to inpatients and outpatients. Job Responsibilities: To support patients and their loved ones receiving cancer treatment including palliative care. To provide bereavement support through signposting to appropriate services. To offer advice to non-psychological colleagues and members of the MDT who are caring for patients. To assess the psychological needs of patients and apply the appropriate psychological treatment which may include referral to psychiatry.
