You will be part of a team of psychologists including an 8b, band 7, assistant, trainee, and placement student and will supervise other psychologists. You will be involved in group, CBT, systemic and narrative work, as well as audit and service evaluation projects and leading on developing teaching and training initiatives to improve knowledge, care and understanding for this cohort. We have fortnightly reflective practice sessions, teaching, and academic research meetings with key researchers in the field, where there are opportunities to contribute to the evidence base. The team sits within the Mental Health Psychology Stream within Psychological and Mental Health Services PAMHS. There are approximately 90 members of psychology staff, who participate in special interest groups (SIGs), an anti-racism practice group and other service wide initiatives. There are weekly clinical academic departmental presentations, opportunities to observe other teams and contribute to department and trust wide activities.
