The post holder will utilise skills of clinical expertise, leadership, education, and management to ensure a seamlessservice for patients, carers, and staff. To assess care needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and act as a role model to junior staff, undertaking performance management is required. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients and the whole ward for the duration of the shift.
