                                                    Health Care Assistant with The Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, Cornwall

                                                     We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in the Cornwall Skin Clinic for up to 12 months. Based within The Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, you will assist our clinical team of consultants, GPs and Nurses in a theatre setting in providing 'see and treat' and day case clinics for the Dermatology service. We have up to 24 hours available (two full days and two half days). Your earliest start will be 8.30 am and the latest finish will be 5.00 pm.   Ideally you will have previous minor operations or theatre experience as you will be assisting in our Dermatology clinics (a 'see and treat' service). You should already working at a Band 3 level.   About us  Working with the nurse team, providing care for patients as directed by the practice nurse or GP; the post holder will be required to use their own initiative but must be able to recognise their own limitations and seek guidance where necessary. Dermatology practice includes: Assisting the Consultant Dermatologist or GPwSI in dermatology clinics either in the consulting room or the minor operations theatre.
