We have an exciting part time (0.65WTE) opportunity for an enthusiastic Advanced Optometrist to join our dynamic team at RDUH Foundation Trust based at the West of England Eye Unit. The role will include a range of core, specialist and extended role Optometric sessions as well as advanced practice in pre-assessment cataract clinics in The Centre for Excellence in Eyes at the Nightingale hospital and Axminster Hospital. More detail about the role: You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Ophthalmologists and other health care professionals within the expanding optometry service based across our 3 sites. The successful candidate will be GOC registered, flexible Travel between sites is essential. Previous hospital experience in optometry is not essential. Support and training will be offered if necessary. Visits to the department are actively encouraged. Working Pattern: 3 days; one set day at Axminster site, one based at WEEU and one flexible across sites. Days and hours are negotiable.
