Senior Practitioner - Emergency Duty Team with Oxfordshire County Council in Abingdon Police Station
As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering the emergency social work response on your shift, providing high quality social work when families need this most during emergencies. This role works on a rota of shifts and therefore candidates must be able to work across the shifts out of hours About you You will appreciate this is an important and essential service and as such, the role requires a significant level of autonomy and therefore you must have experience gained from a statutory child protection service. You need to be a qualified social worker with Social Work England registration and should be someone able to manage competing demands, reflective and analytical, and proportionate in your decision-making whilst maintaining a clear focus on the best interests of children and vulnerable adults.
