Job Details: Salary £59,175 - £95,400 per annum (Pro-Rata) Contract Fixed-Term Contact: 12 months Hours Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 8:2) On call None Location Mellmead House, 4 Orchard Close, Rodney Road, Wanstead, Redbridge, E11 2DH Qualifications needed: Full GMC Registration with a license to practice Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this. Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases. Provide guidance and supervision to the team. Work directly with adult people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers, and acute hospitals. Work alongside the 2.6wte Adult Consultant Psychiatrists within the service and share clinical supervision requirements with them. Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A&E departments and inpatient wards. Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care. Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
