                                                     We are looking for a   full time Paramedic Practitioner   or 2 part time Paramedics  ( ideally with experience in Primary Care)  to cover Monday - Friday We are a friendly and innovative training practice; based in a modern building in Potters Bar. We are an established team with very low staff turnover and a consistent high performer in the Friends and family reviews. We are a training practice and believe in supporting learning, exploring new ideas from our team and working with our PPG to ensure we provide an excellent service. We hold regular meetings with all staff groups to ensure we continually grow and learn.  Your role will cover some work within the community and at the practice. You will assess, manage, treat, refer and/or signpost patients who attend surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury. The post holder will use clinical skills to provide education to patients, promote self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.  You will be part of a team delivering high quality patient services to a patient population of 10,000 patients and you will be joining a team of: - 4 Partners (Dr A Shah; Dr S Glekin; Dr J Gadawala; Dr S Hann)  5 Salaried GPs 3-4 GP trainees  2 Nurse prescribers; 2 Nurses 1 HCA 1 Pharmacist1 Mental Health Practitioner 1 Social prescriber  We offer a competitive salary (to be negotiated) and use EMIS Web, Docman; Lexacom and AccuRx     Job summary:  The role will provide a Paramedic resource for health care professionals and service users, working in collaboration with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.  To work within the community, as an autonomous, accountable Paramedic, in the provision of a holistic approach for individuals including assessment, management and treatment, to deliver high quality patient services.  To assess, manage, treat, refer and/or signpost patients who attend surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed condition relating to minor illness or minor injury.   The post holder will use advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.
