An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 0-19 Service at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust as a Team Leader. You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will be a key member of the 0-19 Service, who provides Community Public Health delivery through the Healthy Child Programme, and Public Health Promotion. The post is within the Fantastic & Diverse Arbourthone/Manor/Darnall Locality Team, who effectively supports the delivery of the above to ensure that the children and young people in Sheffield reach their full potential. The Team Leader will: Demonstrate leadership skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in partnership with team, other professionals and agencies. Demonstrate skills in delivering effective clinical decision making in complex scenarios and to make decisions when there are conflicts and tensions. Be able to work under pressure, manage workload and meet deadlines, have prioritisation skills and a positive attitude and solution focussed approach to the delivery of the role. The Team Leader will be responsible for: Managing and co-ordinating the 0-19 Public Health locality team which includes Health Visitors and a wider skill mix team. Providing clinical supervision and support, leadership and professional direction to a Public Health locality team. Co-ordinating and utilising health needs assessment, profiling tools and leadership skills to direct resources to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children and young people and families within the locality area. Enabling children and young people and families to reach their full potential through education, families and community work and working with the broader health team to promote healthy life style choices. Working in partnership with other agencies, projects, groups and the broader health team to support those children, young people and families with complex long term health needs and safeguarding concerns.
