Using the best of practice and standards around metadata, designing the knowledge model will come with the responsibility of quality monitoring and overseeing the population of data from numerous stakeholders. This will include governance, research, training and the use of imports. Design and development of a taxonomy leading to an ontology will help to ensure we can provide views and answers for our users, in the language they are used to. To monitor, interpret and quality assure progress against deliverables to NHS England and NHS Improvement that often require adjustments specifically in relation to the complex corporate business agenda, strategic objectives and the business planning process.
