We are looking for a hard working Band 7 Advanced Physiotherapist to join our enthusiastic and welcoming team here at RAF Coningsby. This is a full time position (37.5hrs) and Part-time candidates will be considered but due to service delivery requirements it must be on a job share basis as full-time hours need to be covered. They are to assist the OiC PCRF in the development of service delivery of rehabilitation within the PCRF. They are to act as a source of advanced clinical expertise in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunction and provide an advisory service to patients, other senior Physiotherapists, other Health Care Professionals and GPs within the practice. About us Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Caring for personnel referred to the PCRF with musculoskeletal injuries. Selecting, assessing, diagnosing and managing patients referred to the PCRF and organise onward referral as appropriate. Assessing, diagnosing and treating complex patients referred for physiotherapy including assessment and treatment planning. Leading the modernisation of the clinical elements of the Rehabilitation Service Review, reviewing current clinical guidelines and protocols. This is to be in accordance with Surgeon Generals Policy Letters SGPLs, Department of Health Plans DHP and specifically the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Programme and associated Defence Medical guidelines. Sharing in the development of a Continuous Quality Improvement programme through clinical audit and liaise closely with the SMO and Regional Clinical Rehabilitation Lead regarding professional performance in accordance with Health and Care Professions Council guidelines and governing core standards.
