                                                    Healthcare Assistant - Fletcher Ward with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Bodmin

                                                     Do you have a passion for working in adult mental health?   Do you have the patience, compassion and motivation to work with those experiencing an acute mental health crisis?   If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you!   Fletcher ward is an 18 bedded inpatient acute ward, which provides a safe environment for assessment and treatment of service users that are aged 18 and above with a mental health condition.   The staff team on Fletcher ward consist of registered nurses, consultant psychiatrists, health care assistants, occupational therapists, activity co-coordinators, admin and a psychologist.   Patients admitted to Fletcher ward may be experiencing acute distress and present with a significant deterioration in mental state, risk of self-harm, self-neglect, or harm to others. We also support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the mental health act.   Due to the busy and fast-paced nature of the ward, this role would be best suited to applicants who have previous experience working within a Mental Health ward environment.
