We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Respiratory Clinical Physiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As the Senior Respiratory Clinical Physiologist, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality respiratory diagnostic services working in a small team of two clinical physiologists to ensure the smooth operation of our growing respiratory department. It is an exciting time to join Salisbury Respiratory Department; we are in a period of transition. This gives you the unique opportunity to shape the changes in respiratory care and pathways to feel the tangible differences you can make. We have opportunities for both training and career progression within our small friendly team. Although we are looking for an experienced respiratory clinical physiologist, we would also welcome applications from applicants looking for a career progression post. The role involves working weekdays Monday to Friday and times and days within this working week can be flexible. We are offering a generous welcome payment of £8,748 and relocation package for this post. You will lead and quality assure your colleague in the pair and providing guidance, training, support and strategic direction for the Pulmonary Function service to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Performing a wide range of respiratory diagnostic tests, including, lung function testing, initiate and monitor CPAP therapy, contribute to the oxygen service and perform and analyse basic and multi-channel sleep studies, in accordance with established protocols and standards. Leading on the Lung Function reporting for the most complex patients, supporting the decision-making of your junior colleague. Being the first point of contact for Physiology services in Respiratory. You will- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including respiratory physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of respiratory diagnostic services. About us Visit our Medicine Division eBrochure to find out more about working & living in Salisbury Although we are seeking an experienced Senior Respiratory Clinical Physiologist to join our Respiratory department, we will also consider applications from those looking to take the next step in their career and welcome applications from those looking for a progression post starting as a band 6 progressing to a band 7. We are able to offer a range of training opportunities for applicants such as both financial and education support with ARTP training. We are offering a generous Welcome Payment of £8,748 alongside this post. 50% of this amount £4,347 would be made on commencement to the trust and the second 50% payment of £4,347 would be made after 24 months of employment. A generous negotiable relocation package is also offered for this post. The relocation package would be agreed prior to commencing with the trust and would be paid on commencement following receipt of relevant receipts relating to relocation.
