Clinical Support Worker – Urgent Treatment Centre with East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in St Leonards on Sea
We are keen to attract Clinical Support Worker who are looking for new challenges and opportunities This post will support the G.P service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care are extremely busy; you'll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist Accident and Emergency Department. We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers, hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths, Care Certificate and or NVQ2 two in health and social care or the equivalent role. Your role will be to provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, removal of urinary catheter, training will be provided You must be able to work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, contributing fully as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff. Team working is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patient. You will support the G.P service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care are extremely busy; you'll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist Accident and Emergency Department.
