This post will be with thePerinatal & Infant Mental Health team and will cover the South of County Durham. The role is NHS Band 3 with a permanent contract. The post holder will provide a high standard of information and support to children and their families in a range of settings (home, communities,Family Hubs and groups etc.)The post holder, following appropriate training will work with appropriate supervision to undertake a range of tasks and group delivery. The role supports emotional wellbeing, parent-infant relationships and attachment, building relationships, providing person centered approaches, empowering families and building confidence in the First 1001 Critical Days. About us To support parent/infant relationships and promote sensitive and attuned parenting to develop secure attachments and support low level issues managing emotional health.Help reduce stigma around mental health and increase confidence through peer support groups and wellbeing walks.Work independently with families and voluntary and statutory agencies, with appropriate supervision.Utilise a community engagement approach to develop appropriate activities and events to support emotional health andwellbeing.Support with helping to address food insecurity; Healthy Start initiatives; Fun and Food initiatives; reducing isolation within communities.
