GP surgery multi-site telephonist: Opportunity to work at an expanding multi-site GP 142yr old General Medical Practice Full time £12.50 per hour Rota: 07:30am-4pm & 10am-6:30pm Based at Central London branch (Chancery Lane, 77 Gray's Inn Road WC1X 8TS) Beautiful Georgian Town house premises Friendly close-knit business with excellent culture As a Telephonist you will be responsible for answering the telephone, accurately taking and relaying messages efficiently and ensuring the smooth transition of calls are met and patient needs are taken care of. You will be the first point of contact Alongside primarily answering calls you will aid in helping the Receptionists tackle administrative task such as contacting patients to book in appointments and relay messages to Patients from the GP Telephonist - Skills & Experience - Must possess a professional telephone voice - Have a charismatic personality and enjoy patient communication - Confident and polite telephone manner with an excellent command of the English language. - Ability to deliver excellent patient service - Good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with patients at all levels - Ability to work in a team environment Desirable Criteria - Previous experience in a GP Practice - Experience of using EMIS Web About us Founded in 1879 we are one of the oldest GP surgeries in the UK.
