As a Bank WingPharmacy Technician, your days will be rewarding and varied, you will work on a wing where you will be responsible for the administration of medication to patients and the associated medication management activities, including audits and stock checks under the direction of the Clinical Lead and the Pharmacist Manager. Work autonomously within guidelines, standard operating procedures and Medicine Policy and: Work as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to assist in ensuring the delivery of a legal, safe, high quality specialist prison pharmaceutical service which reflects National and local policy and priorities, taking into account the high level of security that must be maintained at all times Undertake provision of a medicines administration service to the patients Provide, in conjunction with the appropriate Clinical practitioners, a wing technician medicine management service on allocated wings Support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects across the prison Assist in the delivery of cost-effective prescribing, the medicines optimisation strategy and management of medication budget Promote safe pharmacy practice within the prison including providing advice and training to patients and staff About us As a Bank Wing Pharmacy Technician , you'll be working as part of the HCRG Care Group Teamin Norwich where we deliver services at HMP Norwich.
