You'll also contribute to the clinic's growth by engaging in research, supporting education initiatives, and maintaining national standards. Join us and make a lasting difference in patient care. Job Responsibilities: Clinical Expertise & Patient Care : Lead patient assessments and manage a caseload through nurse-led clinics. Communicate results and guide patients in decision-making. Deliver oncological support, including breaking bad news, and assess patient needs for immediate care. Team Collaboration & Leadership : Participate in MDT meetings, consult with GPs, and act as a primary contact within the RDC clinic. Provide clinical support across departments, referring patients as needed and tracking diagnostic pathways. Protocol Development & Service Improvement : Develop clinical protocols with Consultant Leads, enhance RDC services, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Act as a liaison across teams to improve healthcare delivery and reduce patient stay lengths. Education & Training : Mentor and educate junior staff and healthcare professionals. Develop training materials and patient-friendly information. Engage in educational programs focused on cancer and palliative care. Research & Development : Conduct audits, report on service performance, and contribute to patient pathway development. Publish research and participate in conferences. Collaborate on policy development for the RDC model.
