                                                    Decontamination Technician with Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in HULL

                                                     Responsible for the reprocessing of medial and surgical instrument sets including specialist instrumentation.   To ensure that work is performed to an acceptable standard and in compliance with written specifications and procedures.       Ensure that all items are prepared, assembled and packaged in accordance with defined specifications.   Undertake the reprocessing of sets entailing disassembly, washing, inspection , reassembly and packaging of the theatre sets.   Operate sterilisation equipment.       About us  Prepare and package theatre sets for operations.   Undertake the reprocessing of surgical instrument sets   Be able to operate sterilisation equipment   Develop close partnerships with supervisory staff to participate in the co-ordination and processing of the department's workload.
