Band 7: £46,148 to £52,809 a year pa  PERMANENT 

The post-holder will be responsible for providing a specialist breast cancer family history service as part of a multidisciplinary breast care and breast surgery team.

To provide a service which assesses a woman's risk of developing breast cancer, communicating that risk whilst providing psychological support and referral or discharge to primary, secondary, or tertiary care. The post-holder also advises on actions which may be taken to reduce the risk associated with modifiable lifestyle factors.

The practitioner works independently to meet the needs of the clients and their families and works in line with current evidence-based practice offering. The role involves providing guidance and support to GPs and other multidisciplinary colleagues relating to breast cancer family history.
