We have an exciting opportunity to join the friendly, highly motivated Coventry Community Dental Service (CCDS) based in the City of Coventry Health Centre, working across Coventry & Warwickshire. We require an enthusiastic and conscientious clinician to join our professional and supportive team of Dentists, Dental Therapists and Dental Nurses to provide patient focused community dentistry for people with more complex needs and conditions. The service also comprises an Oral Health Improvement team, a domiciliary service and provides regular GA sessions at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
The challenging and rewarding work of community dentistry spans a wide range of services in which there will be ample opportunity for involvement, providing opportunities to practice all clinical facets of special care and paediatric dentistry, including provision of treatment under sedation in primary care and general anaesthesia in the hospital theatre setting.
We have a substantive post based on 37.5 hours working week - this is expected to comprise a majority clinical caseload dedicated to providing high quality specialised dental care in a compassionate environment to patients who may exhibit learning difficulties, phobias and challenging behaviour.
