The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chef for their catering team, focused on producing traditional, home-made meals using locally sourced ingredients. The role involves working in a large production kitchen to provide quality meals for patients and two busy restaurants. Candidates should have prior experience in a busy kitchen, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Essential qualifications include City & Guilds 7061/2 or NVQ Levels 1 & 2, a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate, and basic numeracy and literacy skills.

The position requires a commitment to high-quality service and an understanding of food safety regulations, including hygiene and allergens. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays, under the supervision of the Head Chef. Experience with special diets or in healthcare settings is advantageous. Applicants must be professional, motivated, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
