The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a focus on Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology to join their team of 32 Consultant Radiologists. This full-time, 10 PAs role is a replacement position aimed at addressing the growing demand for interventional and diagnostic radiology, as well as supporting the development of an interventional oncology service. Candidates are encouraged to apply part-time and will have the option to participate in the interventional radiology on-call rota, with home PACS links provided.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in various non-vascular interventional radiology procedures, preferably including haemorrhage control, and should possess strong diagnostic radiology skills. While another specialty interest is welcomed, it is not mandatory. The department handles a diverse case mix, particularly from Urology, Gastroenterology, and Surgical departments, performing around 1300 IR procedures annually. The new appointment will help establish an interventional oncology practice, which aims to provide thermal ablation and elective embolisation services.
