Health Education and Improvement Wales is seeking a Dental Professional Lead in Nantgarw to oversee and enhance the education of dental professionals in Wales. The role involves managing the Dentist with Enhanced Skills (DES) accreditation framework across various dental specialties and directing the Developing the Dental Educator (DDE) course. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating relevant online learning materials to support the continuous professional development of dental practitioners.
This position requires skills in overseeing quality assurance and strategic planning for educational frameworks, ensuring that course offerings are effective and aligned with the needs of dental professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental education and a commitment to developing innovative learning resources.

- managing the Dentists with Enhanced Skills accreditation framework

Responsible for overseeing, managing and quality assuring the Dentist with Enhanced Skills (DES) accreditation framework across a range of dental specialties.
Lead on the commissioning, provision, direction and future planning of Developing the Dental Educator (DDE) for the dental profession.
