Band 5 Recovery worker - Criminal Justice
Path to Recovery, Drug and Alcohol Services provides community based drug and alcohol services to Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire
The purpose of the job is to reduce drug and alcohol related harms to individuals, families and communities, and empower service users to achieve a better quality of life and wellbeing and fulfill their personal ambitions for recovery.
The post holder will:
- put service users at the centre of everything they do, and consistently deliver a high quality service that promotes and supports recovery in line with Trust vision and processes
- work to values that include self-determination, empowerment and choice for service users
- work in partnership with service users and empower them to draw on their individual strengths and assets, and set goals they would like to achieve in all aspects of their lives.
- deliver personalised and evidence based interventions in one-to-one and group settings, and will optimise their interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes
