About the Role:
Gilbert Meher is delighted to collaborate with a reputable client in the healthcare sector to recruit a skilled Enhanced Healthcare Assistant for a facility in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to residents, with a focus on promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering positive relationships and promoting their overall well-being.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized care needs are met.
- Act as a mentor and role model to other care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role within a care home setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and caring attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting the well-being of residents.
