We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Assistant to join us in our Mental Health Inpatient setting covering our female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as well as our low secure male unit within the Directorate of Adult Mental Health.

The successful candidates will work within the ward environment to ensure the ward is operating within the required CQC, HSE, IPC, Trust guidelines, policies and procedures and will be responsible for escalating anything which fails to meet the criteria.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)


Working closely with the Ward Sister/ Charge Nurse and the team you will support and embed both local and national policies and procedures to maintain high standards within the clinical environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring patients, visitors and staff are accommodated/working within an environment which is welcoming, supportive, and safe.

The successful candidate will be motivated and dedicated with the ability to demonstrates a commitment to the Trusts Behaviours.

These roles are Full Time, working Monday to Friday core hours.
