Nursing Associate inScarborough inScarborough PUBLISHED 3 AUG 2024

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 4 Nursing Associate to support the Emergency Assessment Unit team.

The aim of EAU is to see medical and frailty patients who have a high probability of discharge that day, following diagnosis, a robust treatment plan and/or social support.

EAU is a 29 bedded unit that is fast-paced, which sees a high turnaround of patients, providing comprehensive plans of care to prevent patients being admitted into the hospital.

EAU is a 24/7 unit, working to a shift pattern basis. The unit is supported by a Multidisciplinary team, which consists of Allied Health Professionals, doctors and nurses.

This is a very exciting time, and as a member of the team you will be in a position to influence and affect emergency care, as we continue to develop our innovative ways of working.

This is a rewarding but challenging role, that requires you to organise and prioritise patient care to ensure maximum flow through the department.

In return you will be working with a dynamic nursing team with strong peer support, and access to educational opportunities to further your career.
