Adult Critical Care Unit Band 5 Staff Nurse in Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU)
We are recruiting for experienced band 5 nurses to join our world class Adult Cardiac Critical Care Unit at St Barts Hospital. You will have the opportunity to rotate through three critical care units that care for varying groups of patients, Post op cardiothoracic, HAC, ECMO ,Vascular, and Cancer patients.
The Government has announced that the legal requirement for all NHS workers in England, to be double vaccinated, is currently under legislative review.
We do however encourage those in roles that have face to face contact with patients to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless they are medically exempt), and are continuing to support the vaccination uptake for all staff as this remains the best line of defence.
We are extremely proud to have been rated ‘outstanding’ in our leadership by the Care Quality Commission in 2. Your professional development is very important to us and we offer you the opportunity to undertake ILs, ALS, CALS BSC, MSC and PHD. We have a platform for nurse led research which is fully supported by our director of research and development.
As part of our Adult Critical Care commitment to enhance the working lives of our staff, we offer flexible working arrangements, childcare vouchers, family-friendly policies and staff benefits including an excellent pension scheme.
