CLERICAL OFFICER - CATERING
Hours: 37 hours per week, permanent
Band 2: (£23,362 - £25,368)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to become part of our dedicated administration team, working centrally within the Catering Service.
Are you looking for a new challenge and enjoy working in a busy office environment?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated person who has excellent IT and keyboard skills. The successful candidate will be a confident team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to prioritise their daily workload meeting the varied service demands. In addition, applicants will have good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience of Pecos is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
To apply for this post, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Have The Following Qualifications/experience/skills
- RSA II Typing or equivalent keyboard experience.
- Educated to standard grade level (to include English).
- SVQ II Administration or equivalent experience
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent education or experience.
- Previous office/administration where you have had to meet deadlines
- Maintenance of computerised data in both electronic and manual form including the ability to process orders.
- Proficient in Microsoft office including excel, email and Pecos
- Good communication skills , having a pleasant personality with excellent customer relationship skills for daily communication with colleagues and suppliers
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload to enable deadlines to be met
- Ability to problem solve
- Confidential manner
- Being capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team.
