We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and helpful person who thrives in a busy, ever-changing environment to join our Administration Team in Gastroenterology.

Your role will be to provide valuable secretarial support to the team, enabling the service to run smoothly. Excellent IT and communication skills along with good typing speed are essential for this role.

To type clinical letters and clinical correspondence.

To monitor and be proactive in dealing with generic emails.

Take minutes at meetings as required.

To book outpatient appointments.

To communicate by email, telephone or face to face with Consultants, other healthcare professionals, management and patients.

Spreadsheet work to include updating and tracking information.

To provide cross cover in times of absence.

General administration duties.
