Driver Required


A GBP 11.60 : A GBP 12.02 per hour + 30 enhancements on weekends

3 x 12:hour shifts per week : 7:45 am : 8:45 pm

About Us


Our specialist neurological care centre in Hertfordshire cares for individuals aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions. We aim to optimise health and wellbeing, maximize independence, and support the emotional and social needs of our clients. Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to improve the lives of those with neurological conditions or brain injuries.

Due to the nature of the location, you must have your own transport. We cannot offer sponsorship for this role.


About The Role


  • Work with team members to ensure optimum cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and functional recovery.
  • Monitor the physical and emotional well:being of all clients, alerting senior colleagues as necessary.
  • Maintain morale of clients through communication and contact.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Suggest enhancements to improve the individuals experience and support junior and new staff.
  • Promote choice in the delivery of care and support, enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely.
  • Support service users in having their views and experiences considered in service delivery.
  • Facilitate the safe and smooth running of the Service, maintaining a safe working environment and confidentiality.


About You


  • S/NVQ /QCF Level 2 or other relevant training : desirable.
  • Commitment to achieving S/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience working within a team.
  • Experience in care delivery.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • IT skills including accessing and using the internet, email, and word processing.

Enhancements

  • Nights (8:00 pm to 6:00 am): 30
  • Weekends (Friday midnight to Sunday midnight): 30
  • Public Holidays (24 hours midnight to midnight): 60
