Eastway is looking to appoint a Clinical Ward Manager who has the ability to provide management and clinical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will support the team to deliver person centred care in collaboration with service users, carers and families.
To have overall operational management and clinical responsibility for the delivery of safe, compassionate care within the unit, in accordance with Trust policy and procedures.
Eastway is a Learning Disability Assessment and Treatment (ATU) inpatient service, based on the Countess Of Chester Health Park.

To lead a team of staff in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisal takes place.
To ensure systems are in place to manage administrative and operational resources in a cost-effective manner, evaluating the standard of service delivered.
To co-ordinate multidisciplinary working, maintaining excellent communication and working relationships with all team members, and the wider unit to ensure effective interface and continuity of care between disciplines and services.
The post holder will carry out nursing procedures to a standard that ensures safe and effective care, and complies with the NMC Code of Conduct.
This post is responsible and accountable for the management of clinical care on the ward, and the post holder will be supported to ensure the 6C’s underpin the practice and delivery of care on the ward.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
