Due to expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well established modern dental practice in County Durham.

We are looking to recruit a part time Qualified Dental Nurse 3 days urgently for a well established Dental Practice.

Practice Details

A long established and high yielding practice with over 25,000+ patients. They are a fully digital practice with Systems for Dentists, digital X-rays, Wave one Rotay endo system, and apex locator.

They have and offer a full range of NHS and private dental treatments provided at the practice including: teeth whitening, dental hygiene services, Invisalign, composite bonding, facial aesthetics, and advanced aesthetic dentistry.

We are currently seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join the team at our busy clinic in Chester Le Street. They treat both NHS and private patients.

What the role involves

  • Understand the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
  • Provide the highest standard of clinical support to our Dentists and Therapists
  • Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
  • Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
  • Provide excellent patient care and outstanding customer service at all times
  • Maintaining cross infection controls, equipment and materials to the highest standard and legislative requirements.
  • Performing all duties in line with GDC scope of practice.

Days/Hours

Monday to Friday with flexibility to work late or early clinics when required and Saturdays if required. All hours are worked on a rota - 3 days

Requirements

Our ideal nurse candidate will be registered with the GDC, fully immunised (Hep B) and DBS checked with the right to work within the UK.

You must be committed to maintaining the highest standards within your role and understand the necessary legislative requirements including knowledge of CQC GDC and HTM

Knowledge of SFD dental software an advantage.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £13.00+ per hour depending on experience
