Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while promoting their dignity and comfort. Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or anxieties before and after surgical procedures. Assist with the postoperative care of patients in recovery, ensuring their comfort and addressing any immediate needs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, observations, and any changes in condition, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in a surgical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and support patients effectively. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or similar is desirable.
